Volleyball Recap: Burnet Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Burnet entered their tilt with Jarrell on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Burnet won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

Burnet's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Jarrell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-29.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Burnet will venture away from home to take on St. Michael's at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jarrell, they will head out to square off against Gateway College Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
