Sage Rozanski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, East Aurora let Sabrina Sultana and Grace Gallo run wild. Sultana scored three runs while going 2-for-3, while Gallo scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Tessa Fowler was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
East Aurora was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
