The Charlton County Indians were the  60-43 winner over the Echols County Wildcats when they last played one another  back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Charlton County fell  60-51 to Echols County on Tuesday. Charlton County just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
 Charlton County's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Mahogany Steele, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 13  rebounds, and  Trenity Hamilton who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 11  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Steele has scored all season.  Taylor Knox was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  rebounds and two  steals.
 Charlton County's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Echols County,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-7.
 Charlton County will head out on the road to  face off against  Turner County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Georgia (Turner County is ranked 290th, while Charlton County is ranked 308th). As for Echols County, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Clinch County at 6:00  p.m. Clinch County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
