The Coosa Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Cedartown Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Coosa nor Cedartown posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Coosa had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They suffered a tough 10-0 loss at the hands of Rome on Friday.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Cedartown's offense. They fell just short of Adairsville by a score of 1-0. Cedartown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Everything went Coosa's way against Cedartown in their previous matchup back in April of 2019 as Coosa made off with a 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coosa since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
