The Browning Indians''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 50-14 loss at the hands of Whitefish. Browning has struggled against Whitefish recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Although Browning took the loss, they still got scores from Maurice Redhorn III and Ashton Granados.
Carson Gulick had an outrageously good game for Whitefish as he threw for 302 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Hunt, who picked up 76 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Browning's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Whitefish, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
Browning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitefish will head out on the road to face off against Columbia Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia Falls will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
