Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buena). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pennsville Memorial Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 72-70. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chiefs considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Buena's victory ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Pennsville Memorial, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Buena and Gateway Regional will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pennsville Memorial, they will take on Overbrook at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
