Baseball Recap: Trinity Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Trinity won against Salem on Wednesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Pioneers didn't even let the Blue Devils on the board, marking the Pioneers' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Trinity's third in a row) raised their record to 13-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Salem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Trinity is set to take on their familiar foe Keene at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Salem will face off against rival Windham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
