Basketball Recap: First State Military Academy Takes a Loss

First State Military Academy lost against Newark Charter School back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The First State Military Academy Bulldogs were dealt a 43-15 defeat at the hands of the Newark Charter School Patriots. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

First State Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Newark Charter School, with the victory, they broke their 12-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First State Military Academy will challenge MOT Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. First State Military Academy is facing MOT Charter at the right time seeing as MOT Charter is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Newark Charter School, they will face off against Wilmington Charter at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
