The Foxcroft Academy Ponies's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 victory over Presque Isle. With that win, Foxcroft Academy brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
Silas Topolski was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Birungi, who scored 13 points.
Foxcroft Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Presque Isle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foxcroft Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hermon at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Presque Isle will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Desert Island at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Desert Island and Presque Isle are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
