South Granville is 7-1 against Vance County since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Vipers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Granville has seven straight victories, Vance County has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Vance County's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: South Granville hadn't allowed a single run the last seven times they've hit the field. The Vikings never let Granville Central get on the board and left with a 16-0 win last Friday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.
