Cayden Howell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Saltillo, scoring 24 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The contest was Howell's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Gunner Wesson was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 3 steals.
Mantachie's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Saltillo, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Mantachie will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory Flat at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hickory Flat has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Saltillo, they will head out on the road to face off against West Union at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
