Baseball Recap: Westwood Beats Dobson for Their Third Straight Win

Westwood extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 16-9 in the process. They never let the Dobson Mustangs get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Dobson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. They have struggled against Westwood recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

For Dobson's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Dobson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westwood will challenge Red Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobson, they will take on Gilbert at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
