The Springfield Blue Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They skirted past Bowsher 60-58. The win was a breath of fresh air for Springfield as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Among those leading the charge was Aaron Adams, who scored 17 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Nate Pope was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists.
Springfield's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Bowsher, they bumped their record down to 4-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield will challenge Waite at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waite comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bowsher, they will head out on the road to square off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
