Bellbrook hasn't had much luck against Beavercreek recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Beavers at 5:00 p.m. Bellbrook will be strutting in after a victory while Beavercreek will be coming in after a loss.
Bellbrook took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Oakwood with a sharp 16-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won three in a row.

Chasidy Stewart (OH Christian) made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Taitum Savey (2025), who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alina Shroyer (2027), who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
Bellbrook hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakwood struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Beavercreek's offense. They came up short against Kenton Ridge on Tuesday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Beavers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Bellbrook's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Beavercreek, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.
Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bellbrook has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .494. However, it's not like Beavercreek struggles in that department as they've averaged .491. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bellbrook couldn't quite get it done against Beavercreek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 9-5. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
