Waynesville made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,031 from 6,421. The improvement was largely due to a 40-10 victory over Rolla last week.
Parkview's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Anthony Gilliland threw for 104 and 2 touchdowns and Connor Ratcliff had 76 yards receiving. On the ground Ratcliff chipped in 52 yards. Maurice Downey helped Parkview's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 58 yards.
Gilliland put up the best numbers through the air as the Vikings bested Ruskin. Gilliland's favorite target this week was Ratcliff, who caught 4 passes for 76 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Anthony Cooper of Kickapoo is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,532. He has also thrown 19 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ratcliff. The Parkview star has 55 catches for 851 yards.
A big matchup in Ozarks this week will be when Lebanon takes on the Tigers. As it stands, the Yellowjackets are in fourth, while Waynesville is in sixth.
Parkview led the league in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Golden Eagles. Ratcliff threw for 30 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 52 yards during the win.
