International Studies will head out on the road to face off against the Mater Academy Bay Rays at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
International Studies' recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Mater Brickell Academy, falling 64-10. International Studies was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-5.
Meanwhile, Mater Academy Bay was beaten by Somerset Academy South Homestead 67-23 on Monday. While losing is never fun, Mater Academy Bay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 602nd, while Somerset Academy South Homestead is ranked 268th).
International Studies bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mater Academy Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
