After three games on the road, Thomas Jefferson is heading back home. They will take on the Evergreen Cougars at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Thomas Jefferson focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
 Even though Green Mountain scored an imposing 56 points, Thomas Jefferson still came out on top. Thomas Jefferson walked away with a  65-56  win over Green Mountain.
 Thomas Jefferson had a senior duo take command as  Doren Sacha  scored 19 points along with 3  steals and  William Perkins  scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Owen Alleman, who  scored 7 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Evergreen struggled with  assists on Thursday (Denver South had 1300% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Evergreen was beaten by Denver South 54-26.
  Rob Beldock was Evergreen's leading scorer, having posted eight points.  
 Drew Yager held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.  Yager took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
 The losses dropped Thomas Jefferson to 3-1 and Green Mountain to 1-2.
 Tuesday's  game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting:  Thomas Jefferson  have been dynamite from deep this season,  having  drained 49.3% of their  threes per game. However, it's not like Evergreen  struggles in that department as   they've  made 34% of  theirs this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.  Thomas Jefferson came out on top in a nail-biter against Evergreen  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2022, sneaking past  45-42. Will Thomas Jefferson repeat their success,  or does  Evergreen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
