After flying high against Cedar Ridge last Saturday, Rouse came back down to earth. Rouse fell 3-1 to Salado on Friday. Rouse was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Salado apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Joseph Reyes, which was the first he's scored this season.
Rouse's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Salado, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Rouse will head out on the road to take on Leander at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Leander's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Salado, they will be playing in front of their home fans against China Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. China Spring is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
