The Eminence Eels's road trip will continue as they head out to face the University Trailblazers at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Eminence will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Trailblazers are ranked 176th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-27, which was the final score in the Eels' tilt against the Warriors last Saturday.
Meanwhile, University unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. The matchup between them and Heritage Christian wasn't particularly close, with University falling 61-44.
The Eels dropped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for University, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.
Eminence lost to the Trailblazers on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2015. Can Eminence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
