Apollo Ridge lost against Greensburg Central Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Smithnosky threw for 150 yards and three  TDs while completing 81.2% of his passes while  Crosby gained 97 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave  Smithnosky a new career-high in  passer rating (148.4).  Jerry Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Apollo Ridge now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Greensburg Central Catholic,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apollo Ridge will host Carlynton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they will challenge Clairton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  contest will  give the Centurions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
