Hayden Gay had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 93 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also threw for 123 yards and one touchdown. Those 93 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Bozeman's run defense was locked in: Leon could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. While two picked up at least ten total tackles, Jarret Gay stood above the rest. He picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles. Bozeman didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.9.

Bozeman's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up eight sacks. It was truly a group effort as Wade Mitchell, Gay, and Asher Burris picked up two apiece. Mitchell is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Bozeman's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
