The win was also the third in a row for C.B. Aycock, bringing their record up to 11-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Grace Christian, their record now sits at 18-7.
C.B. Aycock came out on top in a nail-biter against Grace Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 12-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
