Skyline never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Highland Rams with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Andrew Lindquist looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Skyline is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Charlie Billick and Peyton PapaDakis did most of the damage at the plate: Billick went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while PapaDakis went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave PapaDakis a new career-high.

Skyline lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Skyline's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Highland, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Skyline will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
