There's no place like home for Stanhope Elmore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Tallassee Tigers 78-57 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted since November 22, 2024.

Judah Gilbert was a one-man wrecking crew for Stanhope Elmore as he went 5 of 10 on his way to 25 points and five steals. That's the most points Gilbert has posted since back in November of 2024. Terrance Collins was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Stanhope Elmore smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Tallassee lost, don't look at Rowen Thornton. Despite the final result, he posted 35 points. That was a full 61.4% of Tallassee's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rush Wright, who earned eight points.

Stanhope Elmore's record is now 10-12. As for Tallassee, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
