They had to suffer through a rough 65-21 loss at the hands of Donna Klein Jewish Academy. Sheridan Hills Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-10.
Despite the loss, Sheridan Hills Christian saw an underclassman step up: Elizabeth Spee scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Spee is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Carrington, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Sheridan Hills Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Sheridan Hills Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Trinity Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. Trinity Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Don Soffer Aventura at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
