Viviana Carrillo turned in her biggest game of the season on Wednesday, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Monday's match, in which she outscored her previous point total for three consecutive games. On the season, she has averaged 2.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
Carrillo and Nogales won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Salpointe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. The matchup will pit Carrillo up against Salpointe Catholic's star small forward Hannah Williams. Will Carrillo turn in another gem to overcome Nogales? We'll have our answer very soon.
