Batavia (Ill.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Streamwood (Ill.), 33-0, on Saturday.
The Bulldogs were up 21-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Adam Hunger in the first quarter.
Batavia expanded its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Micah Coffey to
Zachary Strittmatter.
Coffey was the top performer for the Bulldogs. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Batavia also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 49-6.
With the win BHS extended its winning streak to four games. The loss was the third in a row for the Sabres.
In a non-conference game next week Batavia (4-0) takes on Lake Park, and Streamwood (1-3) will go up against Larkin in a Upstate Eight - River game.
