The Eisenhower Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Salina Central Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Eisenhower was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-31 to Hutchinson.
Meanwhile, Salina Central was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 41-40 to Andover Central. Salina Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eisenhower's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Salina Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Eisenhower won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January, slipping by Salina Central 41-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eisenhower since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
