On Monday, Tate kept a clean sheet against Navarre. They put the hurt on Navarre with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Tate has posted since December 4, 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jackson Clarke and
Becker Sarmiento, who scored.
Tate has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. As for Navarre, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3.
Tate will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pace at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Pace is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Navarre, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Rocky Bayou Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th.
