The Ysleta Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bel Air Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ysleta will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Ysleta didn't have too much trouble with Parkland at home as they won 52-34.
Azaiah Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Martin Soria, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bel Air's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-44 walloping at the hands of Hanks. Bel Air has not had much luck with Hanks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Ysleta is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Bel Air, they now have a losing record at 14-15.
Ysleta was able to grind out a solid win over Bel Air when the teams last played back in January, winning 45-33. Will Ysleta repeat their success, or does Bel Air have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
