The Clayton-Bradley Academy Blazers can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Apostolic Christian 53-39. The victory was just what Clayton-Bradley Academy needed coming off of a 73-51 loss in their prior game.
Sam McNeal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Dustin Henderlight, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Clayton-Bradley Academy's win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14. As for Apostolic Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
Clayton-Bradley Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (First Baptist Academy is ranked 420th, while the Blazers are ranked 401st). As for Apostolic Christian, they and the will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
