After flying high against the New Summerfield Hornets last Friday, the Carlisle Indians came back down to earth. Carlisle took a 33-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Overton on Tuesday. Carlisle was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Overton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Leading Overton to victory were Kayla Nobles and Catherine Delane. Nobles dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Delane dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Nobles has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played.
Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Overton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.
Carlisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Overton also has no future games currently scheduled.
