The Silver Lake Mustangs can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Lawrence-Nelson at home to the tune of 55-27. The victory was familiar territory for Silver Lake who now have three in a row.
Silver Lake had a senior duo take command as Jordan Faimon dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds and Tayten Menke scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Faimon hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Conway, who scored eight points.
Silver Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Lawrence-Nelson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Silver Lake will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Cloud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Cloud is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they will take on Giltner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
