It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Harford Tech Cobras had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Elkton by a score of 35-26. Winning may never get old, but Harford Tech sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harford Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Junior Aderomilehin, who picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Stephen Kelley ii, who threw for 195 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Although Elkton took the loss, they still got scores from Patience Richmond, Josh Brill, and Kyle Jackson.
Harford Tech pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points per game. As for Elkton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Harford Tech will face off against Fallston at TBD on Friday. One thing working in Fallston's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three games. Elkton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
