The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Bridger, falling 69-34. If Reed Point/Rapelje was looking for revenge after losing 56-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Reed Point/Rapelje lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Landen Bryant, who scored 16 points. Bryant is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Blodgett, who scored seven points along with three blocks.
Reed Point/Rapelje's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Bridger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Absarokee the next time they take the court. Reed Point/Rapelje will host the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Scouts will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
