Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), Pineywoods Community Academy still had to take the loss.
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaziel Reyes, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeke Shepherd, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Pineywoods Community Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season. As for Hemphill, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Pineywoods Community Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Pollok Central is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Hemphill, they will square off against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Central Heights is ranked 981st, while the Hornets are ranked 1000th).
