They strolled past Fairhope with points to spare, taking the game 56-38. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Fort Walton Beach's 24-point performance the matchup before.
Fort Walton Beach found their leader in underclassman SaRuan Newton, who scored 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Newton has scored at least 25% of Fort Walton Beach's points. Alexis Seiuli was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Fort Walton Beach now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fairhope, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Fort Walton Beach and Niceville will face off at 6:30 p.m. on November 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Fairhope, they will head out on the road to face off against Faith Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
