Another player making a difference was Chase Strickland, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson Academy came up short against Cathedral Academy on Tuesday and fell 68-61. While losing is never fun, Andrew Jackson Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while Cathedral Academy is ranked 108th).
Calhoun Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they bumped their record down to 10-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
