It was a good run, but Fort Wayne Snider unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Penn Kingsmen. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this contest were averaging 3.15 runs allowed.

Will Meeks was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April.

On the hitting side, Fort Wayne Snider saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Keck, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Another was Jaden Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
