The Harrison Wildcats will be playing at home against the Oak Hills Highlanders at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Harrison will be strutting in after a victory while Oak Hills will be coming in after a defeat.
Harrison scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 68-36 win over Northwest on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-11.
It was another big night for Alli Robertson, who scored 20 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games she's played. Maggie Seiter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Oak Hills lost to Lakota East at home by a decisive 55-37 margin on Wednesday. Oak Hills has struggled against Lakota East recently, as their game on Wednesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Harrison pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Oak Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Harrison beat Oak Hills 41-31 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Harrison repeat their success, or does Oak Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
