Cardinal Hayes can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 42-10 win over Mt. St. Michael Academy. Cardinal Hayes' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Reid Jones was the offensive standout of the match as he picked up 165 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, St. Francis rose to the challenge on November 10th. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 victory over the Crusaders. The victory was nothing new for St. Francis as they're now sitting on three straight.
St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Johan Vasquez, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Cardinal Hayes' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.8 points per game. As for St. Francis, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
