After losing to the Affton Cougars the last time they met, the Ritenour Huskies decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Ritenour strolled past Affton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ritenour.
Affton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Amelia Wilson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Anna M daughtry who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals. Wilson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Ritenour is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Affton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Ritenour will head out on the road to face off against Riverview Gardens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Affton, they will be playing at home against Normandy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Affton is coming into the game with five straight defeats at home, meaning Normandy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
