The Beamer Titans had to endure a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Fife with a 42-38 win on Tuesday. Beamer's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Beamer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jane Wanjiku, who scored 14 points along with eight steals. Wanjiku is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Esquibel, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Beamer's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-17. As for Fife, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Beamer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fife also has no future games currently scheduled.
