Adding to the longest winning streak in B District 1 (8 Man) this week, Pond Creek-Hunter beat Canton 50-16. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Panthers.
Pond Creek-Hunter's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Irvin threw for 142 and 2 touchdowns and Trenton Grimes had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Grimes contributed 152 yards. Zach Rayner helped Pond Creek-Hunter's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.

Covington-Douglas's Hunter Carl and Dylan Daugherty led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Carl has thrown for 1,040 yards this season, while Daugherty has 40 catches for 480 yards. Grimes from the Panthers leads the league in rushing with 881 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Pond Creek-Hunter and Laverne. The Panthers enters the game ranked second in the state, while the Tigers ranks first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Pond Creek-Hunter takes on Laverne. The Panthers have allowed 46 points this season, while Tim Allen's team has given up 74. Pond Creek-Hunter allowed 16 points last week as it beat Canton.
Rob Davis' team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 551 from 812. The advance stemmed from a 50-16 victory over the Tigers last week.
