Dansville moved up to 192 from 235 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central Michigan. The Aggies climbed the ranks as a result of besting Whiteford 21-18.
Fowler extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Baldwin, 42-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Eagles.
Fowler's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dustin Wirth threw for 27 and one touchdown and Austin Feldpausch had 11 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Koenigsknecht chipped in 168 yards. Jacob Schmitt helped Fowler's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Laingsburg's Jake Zielinski and Shaun McKinney have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zielinski has thrown for 737 yards this season, while McKinney, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 19 catches for 511 yards. Koenigsknecht from Craig Koenigsknecht's team leads the league in rushing with 1475 yards.
Dansville and the Bobcats played the most hotly contested game in Central Michigan this week, with Dansville eventually emerging with a 21-18 victory.
