Ellis Hise Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Moran's Ellis Hise, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hise rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, made 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Britton Bellah posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made nine total tackles and defended two passes.
The victory made it two in a row for Woodson and bumps their season record up to 2-0. Bellah and Woodson will be playing at home against Guthrie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Harden Came Up Big in Throckmorton's 39-33 Defeat
While Throckmorton might've come up empty on Friday, Tilon Harden wasn't going down without a fight. Harrold had no answer to Harden as he rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. Harden also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Throckmorton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Harden's next contest is against Bryson on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
