With a playoff win on the line, Lake Catholic rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Northwest Indians as they made off with a 9-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on four straight.

Brayden Mann was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Pete Malchesky was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Lake Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest only posted an OBP of .179.

Lake Catholic's record now sits at 20-4. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Lake Catholic nor Northwest have any future games scheduled.
