Owosso has gone a perfect 4-0 against Holly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will welcome the Bronchos at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Owosso 3.9, Holly 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Owosso fell victim to Clio and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Mustangs. The Trojans have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Hailie Caswell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Ady Freeman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base. Bella Harris also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Holly had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Bronchos have won three matchups by more than 12 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyssa Bowman (2026) made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Bowman (2026) was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Holly got a massive performance out of Paisley McDougal (2026), who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Leah Murchie (2029), who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Holly's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Owosso, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Owosso got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Holly by a conclusive 8-1 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bronchos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
