Volleyball Recap: Duncanville Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Duncanville had lost three straight headed into Friday's contest, but Jaleeya Brown didn't let it get to four. The Panthers and Pantherettes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rouse Raiders on Friday for which the team can thank Brown, who had 15 assists and seven digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Duncanville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rouse between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Duncanville's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Rouse, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duncanville will host Royse City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rouse, they will be playing at home against Stony Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
