The Perry Hall Gators will face off against the Catonsville Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Catonsville will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Perry Hall extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Gators blew past Lansdowne 16-4. The Gators' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Savannah Carl made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Catonsville fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Carver A&T on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 17-16. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Anna Godman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Sky Mikow was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Perry Hall has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .495. However, it's not like Catonsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Perry Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over Catonsville in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 8-3. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
